Tallahassee Storm Water Damage
The driving rainstorm soaked this poorly sealed window in a Tallahassee house. The drywall panels were ruined and were torn out. The worn carpeting was also soaked and was removed as requested by the customer. The After Photo shows the concrete pad, fir strips and cinder block walls being checked for moisture content. We establish drying goals and carefully monitor the progress during the drying phase of the storm damage service. We can, when necessary, drill small weep holes in the hollow cells or mortar joints of the block to remove residual water or moisture. We apply a light spray of a biocide to disinfect the area. The final walkthrough with our customer, to ensure total satisfaction, also provides documentation that the water affected areas are now within the standard range regarding moisture content.
